Third Editorial Piece
So this is my third piece for NH Magazine (I get paid it's amazing!) about lost connections and Alzheimer's. So since this is where I post things just for me I'll upload the entire process because I can.
My initial thumbnails were pretty good I really liked the idea of a family tree because I wanted to draw all my family members secretly but they went with #2.
Which looked like this. Telephone operators do not actually have phones near them, little secrets.

And I ended up with this. Which I'm pretty happy with. I meant to ask if they wanted it in gif format for the website where it actually blinked and looked much more spoooky.
A First Post- Junior Year of College
This is mostly an experimental blog for myself where I will be posting a variety of doodles/progress shots or stuff from my editorial work. Currently feeling very apprehensive about my work so hoping I can look back in a year or two and truly see how far I may have come.
First post has ugly deer. Nailed it. I'm really going to cringe at that in a year ha.
Guess I'll post a few more images just to kick things off with my editorial jobs at NH Magazine.
This was an illustration for "Shedding Light on Depression" pretty straight forward but they made me change it from a pretty boy to an old man so pretty amusing.
My second illustration that's also 5x5 inches on an article for "Fighting the Flu"
I'm going to cut this post off short but my absolute goal in life is to one day be as inspiring as the people I currently admire and encourage other struggling art students to keep pursuing their goals. You know, after I figure myself out too.
